Simple Ways To Teach The Alphabet!
AGES: 6 months to 4 years
*Sing the abc's
babies love it when you sing to them, so every once in a while replace a lullaby with the alphabet.
*Get/Make big letters
to get them used to seeing the shape of the letters you can add some to their toys
*Note Cards
make note cards with:
a. Uppercase letter
b. Lowercase letter
c. A word and picture of something that starts with that letter
All Children learn at their own paces, but this is something that you can start teaching your child early on! It can increase vocabulary, especially if you make an effort to talk to them and explain things clearly as they become more receptive.
